Contest Details: The Contest shall be promoted and hosted through Facebook Page and any person interested in participating in the Contest (“Contest Participant(s)”) shall submit their profile to the web form posted on Facebook (“Contest Form”) along with the passport size photo, fees & a sample voice record.
The Contest shall be open for participation from January 15, 2020 to March 15, 2020. Only one sample song of the Participant’s would be considered. Our panel judges will evaluate all collected voice files through a predetermined selection process. Selected contestants will be contacted via email if selected for the next Live Audition round.
Admission: Singers (male/female) of all nationalities are invited to enter the competition.
Age Limits: Below 18 and 18+.
Rounds of the competition: The competition is divided into a qualifying round and final round.
Genre: Only Hindi & Bengali.
Registration: The registration has to be addressed no later than the deadline. The number of participants is limited: we recommend early and complete registration.
Registration Fee: A registration fee of $ 10.00 for the qualifying round has to be paid along with online registration.

Gaan Fight (herein after referred to as the "Contest") is hosted by Toronto Sanskriti Sangstha (TSS), a non-profit organization since 2004 (“Contest Organiser”). By participating in the Contest, each Contest Participant agrees to be bound by any decisions made by Contest Organiser in its sole discretion, including any interpretations of the Terms and Conditions.
The Contest Winner shall be eligible to win the Contest Prize as decided by 50% Contest Panel Judges and 50% Live Audience Votes. Providing of Contest Prize and related services shall be decided by Contest Organiser at its sole discretion.
Contest Organiser shall not be responsible for any technical disruption and/or failure/ server problems and/ or any other difficulties of such nature, due to which the participant is unable to participate in the Contest.
Each Contest Participant(s) stand a chance of winning only once during the Audition and Semi-Final rounds.
Contest Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any Contest Participant from participating in the Contest without assigning any reason if they engage any unlawful behaviour. The decision of Contest Organiser in this regard shall be final and binding upon the Contest Participants.
The Contest Participants shall ensure that the answer/response/post on the Online Platform:
shall not violate the rights of any third party, including, but not limited to, privacy rights, copyrights, or any other intellectual property rights.
is not harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever.
The participant(s) represents and warrants that the entries are an original work of the participant and the participant has all necessary rights, licenses, consents and permissions to use, and to authorize Contest Organiser to use, any and all copyrights.
Mere participation in the Contest does not entitle the Contest Participants to win the Contest Prize.
Contest Prize is not transferable, assignable or exchangeable. Only the Contest Winner, and no other person or agent, may claim the Contest Prize, as applicable.
Contest Organiser has the right to substitute the Contest Prize with any other prize, as determined by Contest Organiser in its sole discretion. The Contest Winner shall be informed about the details of any such alternative prize by the Contest Organiser.
Contest Organiser reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to amend/change/vary any of the terms and condition for the Contest and/or terminate the Contest at any time without any prior notice. By entering the Contest, the Contest Participant agrees to such amended terms.
Contest Winner may be required to take part in reasonable pre & post-competition publicity for Contest Organiser. Contest Winner may be filmed, photographed or otherwise recorded for publicity. By entering into the Contest, the Contest Participates waive all copyrights, rights of publicity and any related rights and consents Contest Organiser to have the right to picture, record audio-video, him/her as a contestant or Contest Winner.

The decisions of Contest Organiser and its representatives shall be final and binding on all aspects of the Contest.
Contest Organiser including their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
Your participation in the Contest by submitting the entries will be construed as an acceptance of the above stated Terms and Conditions.
